![]() Whats that quote about lies and statistics again? Never mind its not important.įrom my point of view the poor New Orleans gets a bad rap. In nearly every situation a different t8 cruiser will help the team more. ![]() It's a high skill floor ship, and has low potential. The have slightly better auto bounce angles, that's it.Īll it really has going for it is stealth and radar. The guns are OK, but I can wreck other cruisers just advice quickly with any 203mm guns. That fact is undeniable and makes the ship BAD. It is statistically the worst t8 cruiser in the game. But keep her angled, stay at range from big ship with big guns, use cover when possible and she really shines.Īverage would imply that the ship is middle of the pack. Needless to say I really enjoy playing this floating citadel. I'm even planning on keeping the New Orleans as I div up with filthy CV captains and having a ship with decent AA has come in handy. I'm so glad I waited till they buffed the ship before playing her, finished grinding the Mogami before she got buffed. And I have to say I'm going to keep this ship, she is very responsive, has very accurate guns, good AA, and a Concealment that matches her radar range so you become a pain to DDs. Since than I've made it to the Zao, the Neptune and I've almost finished the New Orleans. Just recently I decided it was time to suck it up and play high tier cruisers. ![]() ![]() I got to the Pensacola back when there was only two cruiser lines and decided nothing looked interesting further up the tech tree so I focused on playing destroyers. I've had to opportunity to play the New Orleans for a long while but didn't. ![]()
